One Life to Live Recap for Thursday, January 22, 2004, cont.

From Written by Kaydee, for About.com

Unbeknownst to Blair, Starr's little Manning mischief was hard at work on poor grandma just before she arrived. Starr was coaching Addie to say a plethora of good things to Blair on Todd's behalf to make them get back together. Addie seemed lost. When Blair announced her resignation, Starr flips. NO! Why did you do that? Blair turns away from Starr and goes to the bar. Starr frantically prods Addie to start the Todd-raving and Addie tells Blair that she and Todd should be together. Blair tells her mom that it's not that simple..Starr jumps and says it IS just that simple. Blair gently scolds her, telling her that they had this talk before...NO, we didn't! You said that Dad did something to you..but he didn't do anything..YOU did, and I hate you for it! Then she scurries off.

Back at The Sun, Todd is on his knees, tossing files across the room, just as Viki arrives, her heart broken for her little brother. She tells him that she thought Blair was here, and he angrily says that she just missed her, She quit to get away from him. Viki sympathetically acknowledges that Todd came there to BE with her. A broken Todd hugs his sister, saying that him and Blair are over...HE'S over. Viki adamantly and firmly tells him that he has his children and he has her...he is NOT over! She tells him that she had a talk with Blair, and she needs to ask him something. What?

Did Blair, at any time, ever say "stop" or "no"? Viki, you're supposed to be on my side, remember? I am on your side! That's exactly why I'm asking you this. I need you to think. Todd goes into a spaced-out episode..he seems to be struggling with himself mentally. He doesn't seem so sure about that night. Todd, what is going on with you right now?

YOU! You have me confused..I can't remember if she ever said, "no", or "stop". Well, you had better remember, Todd! It's important! She wanted it more and more..she never said no...not Blair. Not with me..she wouldn't... Oh, MAN, people! Todd broke down in the most heartbreaking bout of defeated sobs I've ever seen, even more afraid than a child of a monster, and said, "Oh, GOD! Viki, she may have said ‘stop'." Then he grabbed Viki and hugged her really tight, screaming, "I wouldn't have hurt Blair!"

Viki comforts him. Evangeline arrives, happily telling him that Fitz isn't presiding. He's nonchalant about the news. He asks her who is the new judge? Lowell. Is that good? It gives us a fighting chance...Great.

Later, Starr and Todd exchange e-mails. She tells Todd that she hates Blair. No, you don't. Never say that. Well, then I'm really mad at her. Is she there? Don't know, don't care.....Dad, you still there? Dad?

KELLY/KEVIN–AND BABY MAKES THREE–NOT!

Kelly and Kevin are going at each other in the bedroom. They make love, and afterwards, Kevin tells her that if Todd is silly enough to go through with the trial, then he may be called as a witness and... Kevin, forget about that! Let's just focus on us and our baby. Kevin is disturbed at the mention of the "baby". She tells him that she's pregnant, so get used to it. OKKKKAAAYYYY! In that case, I want to talk to the doctor. (GULP!) I want to make sure all is okay with you. The trial will bring on a lot of stress...

Whatever it is, we'll get through it. No, Kelly, I don't want you to just get through it. I'm resigning from Lt. Governor election. Are you sure? You worked so hard for the spot. Yep, I'm sure. Been thinking for a long time. Fine, then I support you. Okay, now the phone rings, and Kelly tells the other party that she'll be right there. She tells hubby that she has to go finish some paperwork that wasn't filed correctly. Sure, honey. See ya soon.

LLANVIEW LAW & ORDER: TO CATCH A KILLER!

The Conclusion... Lindsay and John arrive as Nora emerges from Bo's office. Hey, Lindsay, how'd it go? What did Troy have to say? Basically that his dead brother is in his head and he wants him out. Nora isn't surprised. So, John, do you still think he's faking it and has an outside accomplice? Lindsay warns John that he'd better not even think of looking in her direction! John tells Nora that her guess is as good as his, then excuses himself to answer his phone.
