LLANVIEW'S LAW & ORDER: TO CATCH A KILLER!
We open in Statesville, where Lindsay and Troy are standing face-to-face on opposite sides of the bars. Lindsay is clearly shaken and Troy is dark and weird as Lindsay greets him. "Hi, Troy. How..are..you?" He stares at her, and gruffly replies, "Who are you?" Lindsay rushes out of the visitor's room and tells John, out in the hall, that she can't go through with it. Troy doesn't even remember her. John tells her that she indeed WILL go through with it, because he has to find out if he's putting up a front and really has an accomplice outside somewhere. Besides, if she doesn't she'll face gun charges. So get to moving. She goes back inside, and slowly re-approaches the window. Troy rudely barks out, "What do you want?"

She tells him that she really needs for him to remember them, their friendship. Confused, Troy says, "Friend? You're wearing that scarf...I remember scaring you..." Lindsay quickly cuts in with some discreet interrogative questions. Troy, you mentioned that you didn't kill those women. No, I didn't kill them. Well, can you tell me who could have..an inmate, a guard, or someone... I didn't have any friends..except Nurse Gray, and somebody killed her...Troy, did you talk to anybody? I talked to Gabrielle...but someone killed her, too. Lindsay gets frantic in her quest for info now. Her questions come hurried and panicked, and he's becoming agitated with his "fragmented" memories. Who did it, Troy? Who left the music box?

He knows who did it...ask him. Who? The doctor. What doctor, Troy? Colin. Lindsay's hopes are deflated. You talk to Colin, Troy? Colin's gone. NO! He's in my head! Get him out of my head! The guard comes over, ready for action, and awaits John's approval. John nods and the guard carries him away. Troy gets a brief steal of a glance back at Lindsay before disappearing. Lindsay screams out, "What the HELL is the matter with you? Why did you put me through that? Why did you put him through that? Do you really believe that this is the man you're after? He can barely string five words together to form a complete sentence!" It's all one big act, John says. He's got a pal on the outside that's helping him in here, and we're going to find out who it is. Flash over to the Llanview precinct...

Nora and Bo are discussing John's strategy with Lindsay as they walk into the precinct. Both of them agree that as crazy as Troy is, this just doesn't fit his character, with or without an accomplice. Even Lindsay can't be pictured painting messages on people's walls. Bo excuses himself just as Evangeline walks in. She hands Nora an affidavit, informing her that she motioned for Judge Fitz to remove herself from presiding over the rape case. Nora snickers, telling Evangeline that she has never known Fitz to drop a case she's been already given..but good luck. Evangeline insists that the judge's remarks in the preliminary hearing proves that there's too much history between her and Todd to make him comfortable with her as the presiding judge. Nora asks if Evangeline received the discovery packet yet. No, but why doesn't Nora fill her in on what's in it? Nora gloatingly tells her that the DNA came back a positive match to Kevin Buchanan as Blair's consensual sex partner. (THAT'S a surprise!)
