February 19,2004 <br> <br> ABC Television Network <br> <br> PRESS RELEASE - ENTERTAINMENT - DAVID TOM JOINS THE CAST OF ONE LIFE TO LIVE <br> <br> EMMY AWARD WINNER DAVID TOM JOINS HIS REAL LIFE SISTER, HEATHER TOM, ON ABC DAYTIME'S "ONE LIFE TO LIVE" <br> <br> Emmy Award winning actor David Tom joins the cast of ABC Daytime's "One Life to Live" in March 2004, when he assumes the role of Paul Cramer. He will play brother to real-life sibling and two-time Emmy winner Heather Tom ("OLTL's" Kelly Cramer).<br> <br> In 1999 David joined the cast of "The Young & the Restless" in the role of Billy Abbott, acting alongside but never in storyline with his sister, Heather, who played Victoria Newman since 1991. On "One Life to Live," however, David will have many opportunities to act with his sister, as he assumes the role of Paul at a time when Kelly will rely on her brother to help secure her future. <br> <br> In 2000 David and Heather received Emmy nominations for Outstanding Younger Actor and Actress for their roles on "The Young & the Restless," becoming the first brother and sister pair to be nominated in the same year. David was honored with the award and, in 2001, received his second nomination.<br> <br> David has numerous television credits, and most recently he completed an episode of "Strong Medicine." His television movies include "A Place to be Loved," followed by "Summertime Switch," "Holy Joe" and "The 60s." His feature film credits include "Stay Tuned," "Swing Kids," "Roommates" and "Pleasantville."<br> <br> Emmy Award-winning "One Life to Live," created by Agnes Nixon, was launched July 15, 1968. Frank Valentini executive-produces. Michael Malone is headwriter. Josh Griffith is associate headwriter/consultant. The popular drama consistently ranks among the top five in the key demographic of Women 18-49. "One Life to Live" airs MONDAY-FRIDAY (2:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network. <br> <br>
