Actor Kevin Spirtas, best known for his daytime role as Dr. Craig Wesley on 'Days of Our Lives,' will soon debut on 'One Life to Live' as the mysterious Jonas Chamberlain. Spritas first air date will be in early June. Look for his character to be connected to Tina Lord, but who he really is and what the connection entails promises to be a real shocker for OLTL fans, and especially a treat for the longtime viewers.
Laurence Lau (ex-Sam Rappaport, OLTL) will soon be heading back to daytime when he returns to All My Children as his former and widely popular character, Greg Nelson. Lau played the role of Greg from 1981-1986. Fans may recall it was Greg and his beloved Jenny Gardner, that become one of AMC's greatest love stories, which eventually ended quite tragically. Lau will be back on the set to film a few episodes starting April 23, and his first air date is scheduled for May 20. Watch for Greg's return to Pine Valley during a life altering event involving Jesse and Angie.
Be on the look-out for the upcoming departure of a female character which TPTB have decided to write out. There are speculations this may be the character of Marcie McBain, played by actress Kathy Brier. Also, there are even more rumors circulating on the departure of Nash Brennan as well. It seems the writers want to bring back the whole Buchanan gang, including Joey and Kevin, which leaves poor Nash out.
According to Soap Opera Digest, One Life to Live has confirmed the return of actress Andrea Evans into her previous role as Tina Lord. According to the magazine, her return coincides with Evans' exit on Passions, which has ending its production on DirecTV. Evans first arrived on the set of OLTL back in 1978 and left the show in 1990. There is no word on her first air date, but sources say Tina will have a very surprising link to a character who is not well liked.
It looks like the character of Miles Laurence will be written out very soon.

From SOW: "I have been a fan of ONE LIFE TO LIVE since I was a baby," reveals Snoop Dogg. "My momma always had it on the tube in the crib growing up."
Kristen Alderson (Starr Manning) recently became very ill when the young actress came down with a bad case of mononucleosis. Alderson was forced to take some time off work to recover, but was back on the set on March 10th, and apparently had to "make-up" some important scenes set to air this week.
Mark Lawson has just been cast for a new role on the show. The original casting name was stated to be Quinn, but sources are now stating the character's name has been changed to Brody. The actor has signed a four-year contract with the show and is set to start taping on March 15, and will first air starting April 24.
The role of Joey Buchanan is currently being recast, and according to insiders, the soon-to-exit DAYS star Brandon Beemer (Shawn) has already been in talks of taking over the role. Also, as part of the plan to bring the Buchanan family back to the forefront of the show, OLTL may also have in the works of bringing back the oldest Buchanan son, Kevin Buchanan.
ABC has teamed up with the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy and has set up a blog for Kristen Anderson, who plays Starr Manning, to discuss what the character is going through with the decision she made to have sex with Cole and its consequences on her life.
