Blues Clues star, Donovan Patton, will soon be making a guest appearance on the show.

OLTL hired over 100 extras to appear during the upcoming scene during the mayoral election. The extras were hired to play reporters, policeman, protesters and brides and grooms for the mass gay wedding ceremony.

Ex-Joey Buchanan, once played by the handsome Nathan Fillion just learned that his hit TV series, Castle, has been picked up for a full season on ABC. This means the actor will be very busy with at least another 17 more episodes - way to go Nathan! (Even though OLTL fans sure miss him in Llanview!)

Actor Will Chase will soon be making his appearance as Dr. Nance, the young surgeon who Matthew hired to do his surgery. Chase also played a doctor in 2006 as Dr. Linn on As The World Turns. More recently the actor has had roles on Law & Order, Criminal Intent, Rescue Me and Four Single Fathers. Chase's first airdate will be on Wednesday, November 11.

David Gregory, who played Ford, the producer of David's reality show, will be returning to Llanview in December.

Roscoe Born makes his return to Llanview as the former cult leader Mitch Laurence. Is he the real father of Rex Balsom and the one behind Jessica's stalker?

Although actor John Brotherton (Jared) was fired from the show last month, look for his character to make some ghostly visits to his friends and family. In a side note, Brotherton has announced that he and his family are relocating to California and has already had an audition for Ugly Betty.

Citing lack of funds due to the sagging economy, ABC Daytime has reversed its decision to convert One Life to Live to High Definition television. A spokesperson for the network has stated that although its request for funding to convert the soap to HD in 2010 have been denied, ABC will make another request next year which would allow for a 2011 transition. However, until that time, OLTL will become the only program on ABC's Daytime schedule that will not be broadcast in HD, which does not help in alleviating the fears of a possible cancellation of the show. *Remember to keep those sending those letters to Brian Frons!

Actress Christine Jones reprised her role as Pamela Stuart, the woman Natalie and John found dead at the Buchanan Lodge.

Dorian's big gay wedding to Amelia will begin airing on Friday, October 30 and continue on Monday, November 2. In related news, Erin Cronican will make her appearance as Dorian's stylist on Thursday, October 28.

Kate Miller will return to OLTL in the same role of Nadine Lovett, which she played in a couple of episodes back in 2008. Miller will reprise the role when her character makes a call to her brother Brody Lovett and asks for his help. Her return is expected to be short-term. Look for Brody to leave Llanview on Friday, October 23 when he travels to Michigan to help his sister, Nadine.

Laura Koffman (Bonarrigo) will soon be returning as Cassie Carpenter when she makes a visit to Llanview. Look for her in the coming months.

In related news, actor Robert Krimmer will be reprising his role as Rev. Andrew Carpenter. No news on whether Andrew and Cassie's return will coincide.

Matthew Buchanan will soon have two new school mates. Daniel Manche will play in the role of Tom, Matthew's new school friend and roommate. Manche will make his debut on Thursday, October 22. Kelly Massel will make her premiere as well later in the month playing the character of Danielle.

Look for Marcie (Kathy Brier) and Michael McBain (Chris Stack) to return to Llanview briefly sometime in November. Marcie's appearances will be on November 6th, 12th and 13th, and Michael's appearance will begin on November 12th.

Good news for Dan Gauthier fans - the actor will return briefly to OLTL in his role as Kevin Buchanan. The last time Gauthier appeared on the show was back in November 2006. Currently the character of Kevin is in working and living in London, England. UPDATE: According to Gauthier's official Web site, the actor will only be back for three episodes starting on Tuesday, October 20th.

Hillary B. Smith (Nora) and Gina Tognoni (Kelly) have both been cast in Crystal Chappell's (ex-Olivia, Guiding Light) new web soap entitled "Venice: The Series," which is set to premiere later this fall. Smith will portray Chappell's gay character Gina's aunt Guya, and Tognoni will play the part of Sami. Get Further Information

Gina Tognoni (Kelly Cramer) Returns to OLTL - With the demise of CBS's Guilding Light it seems it has now paved the way for actress Gina Tognoni (ex-Dinah) to return to her former Llanview role as Kelly Cramer. ABC has confirmed the actress will return to OLTL in the beginning of next year. The role of Kelly Cramer was last held by actress Heather Tom (Katie, B&B), who left the show back in 2006. Dan Gauthier (ex-Kevin) will return to Llanview this fall, but his appearance, however, will not coincide with Kelly Cramer's return.

One Life to Live fans will once again be treated to another outstanding musical performance on the show, which will be just in time for the holidays. This go-around, fans will have the pleasure of seeing the performance of the multi-platinum group, The All-American Rejects, whom recently performed on the MTV Video Music Awards. The group will be making their appearance at Ultra Violet, where Rex Balsom (John-Paul Lavoisier) will surprise his son Shane, who gets to announce the band. Also in attendance for the performance will be Starr (Kristen Alderson), Cole (Brandon Buddy), Langston (Brittany Underwood), Markko (Jason Tam), Oliver (Scott Evans), Kyle (Brett Claywell), Stacy (Crystal Hunt) and Kim (Amanda Setton).

The band will play from their new singles "I Wanna" and "Mona Lisa" from their latest album, When The World Comes Down. Their two-episode appearance on OLTL will be on Friday, December 4 and Monday, December 7.

Singer Lionel Richie, along with Jeremiah, made their Llanview performance on Tuesday, September 29.

Former All My Children star, Jerome Preston Bates (ex-Derek Frye), is playing the part of the new security chief for Buchanan Enterprises. Bates first air date was on Thursday, September 17.

OLTL'S Erika Slezak (Victoria Lord Davidson Banks) has recently just re-signed her contract with the show and will remain with One Life to Live for quite some time.

WEEDS star Tonye Patano and THE WIRE'S Frankie Faison are playing the parents of Shaun, Destiny and Greg, Phylicia and Richard. Patano and Faison made their OLTL debuts on Thursday, September 10.

Kristen Alderson (Starr Manning) and Brandon Buddy (Cole Thornhart) were one of the presenters for this year's Daytime Emmy Award ceremony, which took place on Sunday, August 30 at the historic Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles.

Michael Lowry (ex-Jake, AMC) returned to his role of Ross Rayburn on Friday, August 28th.

Lisa Evans, is playing her own son Scott Evans' (Fish) soap mom (Barbara Fish) J. Tucker Smith is playing Fish's father, George Fish. The Llanview couple first aired on Wednesday, September 16.

Erin Torpey (ex-Jessica Buchanan) married Hamilton von Watts on April 18, 2009. The happy couple married on the beach in Malibu, California. View Erin and Ham's wedding photos.

Forbes March (ex-Nash Brennen) joined the cast of As The World Turns on July 14, 2009, playing the role of Mason, Noah's gay college advisor.

Kathy Brier (Marcie) and Chris Stack (Michael) last aired the week of June 15, 2009.

Jan Maxwell (Phil Brennan) and John Wojda (Cindy Brennan) played the parents of Jessica's late husband, Nash.

On Friday, June 12, Ada Maris and David Pinion made their first appearance as Markko's parents, Aurelia and Ernesto Rivera.

Actress Renee Elise Goldsberry (ex-Evangeline Williamson) is a new mom! She and husband, attorney Alexis Johnson, recently welcomed their son Benjamin into their lives. According to SOD, "the family is overjoyed, and they are praising God for this perfect miracle. Renee thanks all of you for your support and constant encouragement. In lieu of cards or gifts, she asks for your continued prayers and well wishes. They truly work wonders because Benjamin is a dream come true!"

Williamson, 38, appeared as Evangeline Williamson from 2003 until 2007 when her character went into a coma. The actress also played on Broadway when she originated the role of Nettie in The Color of Purple. In addition, Williamson also played the part of Nala in Broadway's production of The Lion King and most recently in the role of Mimi in the final run of Rent.

Terrell Tilford (ex-David, GL) is playing the role of Dr. Greg Evans, who begin airing on June 23, 2009.

A Martinez (Ray Montez) last air date was on Wednesday, June 10, 2009.

Actor Nathan Purdee returned as Hank Gannon on Wednesday, April 1, 2009.

Daphnee Duplaix (ex-Valerie, Passions) has taken over the role of Rachel Gannon, Nora's daughter. Her first airdate was on Tuesday, April 7, 2009.

Good news for Michael Easton (John McBain) fans! The actor has recently just signed a new contract to stay on with OLTL!

Crystal Hunt (ex-Lizzie Spaulding on Guiding Light) is playing the character of Stacy, Gigi's sister. She debuted on OLTL on Friday, February 6, 2009.

Kamar de los Reyes
(Antonio) has decided not to re-sign his contract with OLTL, and end his 10-year history with the show. The actor finished up his last taping on Monday, January 5, 2009.

Eddie Alderson (Matthew) has been put on contract with OLTL.

Scott Clifton is portraying the role of Schuyler Joplin. Clifton first appeared on Friday, January 9th.

Andrea Evans' last OLTL tape date as Tina Lord Roberts was on Friday, October 31, 2008.

Melissa Archer (Natalie) has just recently re-signed a new contract with OLTL.

January LaVoy (Noelle) and John Rue (Mo) will be staying around Llanview for awhile.

Florencia Lozano has returned to her former role of Tea Delgado, Todd Manning's ex-lawyer and former love interest.


David Fumero has inked a new deal with the show that will keep Cristian in Llanview for the foreseeable future.

(Gigi) and John-Paul Lavoisier (Rex) are dating in real life.

Farah Fath is playing the role of Gigi Morasco.

Actor Brian Kerwin is playing the role of Charlie Banks.

Phil Carey last aired as Asa Buchanan on Thursday, April 26, 2007. The 83-year old star died on Friday, February 6, 2009 just one week after his former co-star Clint Ritchie (ex-Clint Buchanan) also passed away.

Jerry verDorn, (Ross, Guiding Light) has inked a 4-year contract with OLTL to play the new Clint Buchanan. "Clint's" first airdate was on Tuesday, October 25. Jerry verDorn played the part of Ross James Marler on Guiding Light since 1979, and was one of GL's longest running characters.

Tika Sumpter is playing in the contract role of Layla Williamson, Evangeline's sister.
