With the production of One Life to Live set to begin within weeks from now, many fans are wondering how the filming of both OLTL and AMC will work out.
Well according to an inside source of ABC Soaps In Depth, "All My Children will tape first for two weeks at the Stamford, Connecticut studios. Then, One Life to Live will shoot episodes for five weeks. Next, All My Children will return and tape for five weeks. "
"They'll be alternating back and forth until each show has completed 17 weeks of taping. Everyone is looking forward to seeing each other again," according to their source.
As a general rule, most scripted soap operas over the years generally have had a 6-10 week time frame between filming and the time the episode actually aired on TV. With OLTL and AMC being cut down to 30-minute episodes, it's not clear, at this point, how long the actual lead time will be.
As promised, I wanted to share some of the fan comments I've been receiving on the return of One Life to Live, after all, if it wasn't for the fans, there would be no show.
