A big thanks goes out to everyone who has emailed me about the upcoming return of One Life to Live, and has expressed their opinions. I have also been receiving numerous emails with questions about how watching the show through Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes is going to work exactly.
I completely understand how confusing this may be to someone who is unfamiliar with viewing content in this manner. Gee, I can remember the days of having to move around a metal antenna just to get good TV reception. We have no doubt come a long way since then with the introduction of cable, satellite, VCR, DVD and Blu-ray players. Plus, now we have HDTV, DVR and TiVo machines and of course the massive influx of Internet enabled devices, such as smart phones, tablets, and gaming machines, just to name a few.
Basically, viewers need to understand that OLTL and AMC will NOT be broadcast on any television or cable network. Prospect Park will be producing brand new 30-minute episodes of both OLTL and AMC each weekday, which will then be available in an online format.
At the extremely face pace of this new digital generation, I have no doubt that before long we will have to to learn about something even more complex. But that's for another day. In the meantime, happy OLTL viewing!
So what is Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes? How do I get it? And how much will it cost me?
