Festivities begin at 11AM CST when the actors make an appearance on ABC 7 Chicago's 11AM Newscast with meteorologist Tracy Butler broadcasting live from the Sidetrack Video Bar interviewing the actors. At 12PM, it's the "Live from Ultra Violet" talk show where Jason will interview the actors about their time on the show and take questions from the fans. I don’t Understand why OTL can’t stay on Soap net..Soap net is for soaps..I work and I watch it every day on there…why can’t OTL stay on Saop net…This is the one thing Me and my daughter look forward to every day…I’ve watched it since the first day it aired…It would make sense for soapnet to take it…

Soapnet is going off the air too, a Disney channel for toddlers is taking over Soapnet another kick in the face for us soap fans! THIS REALLY SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
will they show December 31st finale farewell, again and when THIS WAS THE BEST SHOW ON TELEVISION, now there is no reason to turn on the t v ……………….
Please please leave oltl on the air!!! I don’t believe for a min that its going off because or ratings I know lots of people that watch!!!! First all my children now oltl??? Outrages!!!

Interesting—-yesterday, the ABC OLTL Sneak Peek message boards were up and running just fine, overrun with angry fans making negative comments about the entire cancellation situation and the show replacing OLTL—The Revulsion—and as of this morning, the page no longer loads up with Erika Slezak’s picture anymore and all the comments are gone—I mean, every comment. Glitch??? Perhaps. But, I tried the GH Sneak Peek board just to test it and it works just as it’s supposed to. I guess ABC/Disney doesn’t mind dishing it out but they can’t take it when fans fire back.
Why can’t OLTL go on Ophra’s own net work. All the soaps should go on, and we all can watch OWN and love ophra even more than we do. C

Is it the actors and actress that don’t want to do it anymore or is it ABC. If it is ABC then why can’t they go on another network.
I will miss the show, i watched it from day one. Yet they are putting another talk show on. “The Revolution” YUK! It’s right up there with the Chew which is a total farce with unprofessional people fake to be exact. YUK to both of them. Brian frons got rid of soas and they got rid of him!! Maybe ABC should go away as well. There is nothing worth watch on that channel.

I wonder who really killed Victor. I’m very interested to see who. It could NOT have be Todd because of a few different facts. Victor knew Todd had a gun and wanted to kill him so Victor would not simply ask him “what are you doing here?” And Todd remember saying “you take my life Victor, I’ll take yours” That would have be recorded on the phone conversation. Here are a few good choices: The new Mayor was already working for Irene and that why she wanted an arrest so bad, or maybe an old enemy from Victor’s passes that actually works for the police dept. or have connection and that why that gun matched. But who even did it, its lame to write that Todd killed Victor because it doesn’t match up. And what happen to the man who Irene was holding with Victor’s stolen face, he could have killed Victor.
@Sunni: I was wondering the same thing. I was hoping that Mitch Laurence’s return would yield clues or center around Victor still being alive, but apparently, that isn’t the case. I’m still so upset that this is the last week we get to see OLTL. I can’t believe we’ll never be able to tune in and see the people of Llanview again. It’s surreal. Btw, ABC seems to have gotten their OLTL message board back up and running. Still not convinced it was simply a “glitch”.
i can not belive this,abc shame on you for not hearing the fans ,the talk shows bombed and you know it take the crap off we want our soaps….i have cried this is really upseting that the best soap is realy leaving,,,
@Kim: I already warned my husband about this Friday. I told him, “I’m just letting you know—I know you don’t completely ‘get it’ or whatever, but Friday is going to be hard for me. I will be upset, I will probably cry, so this is a head’s up. Do NOT ask what’s wrong or say ‘it’s just a soap’!” Over 43 years—-the majority of my life—-I have been watching OLTL (and AMC and GH, too). AMC’s cancellation hurt, but OLTL’s has hit me even harder. If and when ABC cancels GH, between all three soaps, that will be a LOT of angry, resentful fans. I can’t imagine ABC’s daytime ratings ever re-bounding from this—not in our lifetime anyway.
I am so so sad that I’m losing a part of my life. I’ve watched OLTL since the year it began. I remember running home from school just to see what happens next..when I was married my children and husband watched it, and still do. This is leaving a big hole in my routine. But I do know one thing I WON”T WATCH the show that has replaced it. OLTL I sure will miss you and all your families that have become mine!!!!
