Laurence Lau (ex-Sam Rappaport, OLTL) has been keeping very busy this year since being cast on the national tour of August: Osage County. Lau plays alongside Academy Award winner, Estelle Parsons, who is best known for her roles in Bonnie and Clyde and later on as the mother of Roseanne in her television series. Lau plays the part of Steve Heidebrecht, a buisnessman from Florida who is engaged to another character but later seduces her young niece.

I’ve been watching for years,but if I have to watch gay men
kissing each other on the lips. How gross is that? I don’t think we need that. Gays can have their way of life,just don’t make us watch it.
There are an awful lot of people that are supporting that storyline, I think they are telling the story with dinity so I don’t have a problem with it and feel it reflecks society. From what I’ve seen they will have more people start watching when they get wind of the storyline than are threatening to quit watching because of it. I think gay people have a right to see people like them on daytime tv too.
