Note to Jill or Katherine, or whoever the heck does this website. Not every person that visits this site wants to know the spoilers. So perhaps instead of listing all of the important or “shocking” reveals on the main page, you should just say spoilers, and let those who want to be surprised choose whether they want to be “spoiled” or not, by clicking on a link that goes to the spoilers. You don’t get any brownie points for being the first to publish something….and 99% of the time the big OLTL news in listed on other sites first, anyway.
Mark, I appreciate your comment, however, I’ve been posting my spoilers like this for the past 10 years and don’t do it to gain “brownie points.”
It’s a ‘One Life to Live’ Web site, and spoilers are a big part of what I post, and what the fans have enjoyed over the years.
And, BTW, Jill is my commentary writer – I’m the one who runs the site.

I sincerely apologize Katherine. I didn’t realize how harsh my comment came across until I just re-read it right now. I was trying to suggest not to list any spoilers on the main page, but simply stating “SPOLIERS”, giving fans the option of clicking on the link. It ultimately doesn’t matter anyway, because ALL soap sites give away the “news” before the shows ever air. I miss the good old days when you were shocked by the storyline twists. I already knew Mitch Lawrence was coming back, but I didn’t know Pamela Stuart was murdered, so thats an example of when your spoilers took away the element of surprise. Anyway, I truly enjoy this site, and I visit it multiple times a day, so it’s my own fault that I’m never surprised anymore. I truly am sorry at how harsh I stated my previous comment. I realize that this site takes a large amount of your time, and I, as well as everyone else who visits this site, greatly appreciate you for giving us a forum where we can learn about and love our show together!
Hey, if Mitch Lawrence is coming back, how do you know Pamela Stuart is really dead? How many times has Mitch Lawrence been killed?
Mark, no apology is needed. I have learned over the years not to take anything personal. I’ve also learned that there is no way to please everyone who comes to the site either. I just try my best to mix things up a bit and hopefully come up with a happy medium.
I do know what you mean about the good ole’ days too when we didn’t know everything before it happened. The only way we learned anything was through the soap magazines, but even then, it was pretty limited on the upcoming spoilers. I enjoyed those times too!
But times have changed, and viola – the Internet came alive. LOL So even if I didn’t post them, like you pointed out, they would be posted “out there” somewhere else.

Well, I’m impressed. Someone in charge out there actually reads our comments! Mark – I think you are really respected by them. I hope it was the real thing and not a hoax from some imposter.
An afterthought – On today’s AMC, Aiden asked Kendall why Zach didn’t shave because he’s handsome and should. I posted this same comment a week or 2 ago. How strange is that?
Ibelieve the reason that soaps are losing popularity is because of all the alternative lfe styles that they are pushing down our throats, thats why I stop watching GL and so many of the other soaps is nothing sacred in daytime T.V. anymore?
I enjoy the spoilers and it’s the main reason I come to these sites. I am disappointed that Cris and Layla (oltl) are so often ignored though. OLTL is the only soap I watch and mainly for Cris and Layla…although I do think David Vickers is a hoot and I have heard leaving the show again. For the person complaining about “alternate” lifestyles on daytime, people that live these lifestyles have a right to see people like them on TV too,

I notice they took off my comment #10 that Mark referred to. The comment he made after mine sounds nonsensical. Why would the person that edits this site let it stay for a couple days and just delete it? Just curious about your criteria for content.
