OK…I’ll be the first to comment…THEY ROYALLY SCREWED UP AGAIN…Everytime an actor who is AMAZING on the show, gets the ax…I don’t understand their thinking, the process or any of it. I just don’t know why they have to upset the cart. “Nash” is one of the best actors to hit OLTL, we LOVE his character and BOOM…he’s out! I am getting so tired of this, I may switch to another soap.
To Forbes….You are so gifted, so amazing and you truly brought passion and feeling to the role…you are a god..don’t let them get you down. No doubt somebody else with a brain, will no doubt give this guy a great job on another soap and we the fans of Forbes, will watch him shine elsewhere….
OLTL Executives are just not thinking…I know how upset so many fans will be. This is INSANE…

What are you thinking? Nash is such a wonderful and inspiring part of OLTL. You are making a big mistake because Nash will only take his talent to another soap that I, as well as many, many others will follow.
After all the drama with Nash that proved his ability to act and made the viewers adore him, you must be nuts to fire him!
After all Nash went through with Jess it’s just crazy to let him go. Instead of bringing old characters back why not keep the ones that make up the show so much better now? The show is going to loose many many followers, Nash’s fans will follow Forbes wherever he goes.
Finally ABC got it RIGHT!!! The Nash character has been so lame the whole time…I for one am so glad to see him go!!!
Daphne I can’t agree more. I could never stand the characterfrom day one.Nash has been a sulking steam rolling bull demanding his Tess/Jess nine ways to sunday (very lame. ) His leaving is making my Day!!!
I agree- Nash has disappointed in so many ways. While he could have been a promising con man he just was a dreamer taking Jess down with him - Good Riddens- Now Bring on the Christian and Jessica Reunion!!!

I am very upset that the show is letting him go. I surley won’t be watching the show anymore, if he is not there.
I like the character Nash. He is a great
addition to the show. He has alot of talent like the others on this show. I hope they change their mind and keep him.
Forbes March is an brilliant actor. I just love Nash & Jessica together. I don’t understand why would the executive producer would let the best thing that has ever happened to OLTL. Please reconsider you decision before it is to late. If Forbes leave his fans will follow, most likely to another soap, then you will loose the few fans that you have left to Days of Our Lives.

Very dissapointed to hear the news about Forbes. He has brought so much to the show. It’s going to be a sad day when he leaves. I don’t like some of the choices OLTL producers have been making lately and this is just another one of them. Who’s next to get the axe? Blair?
Seriously? Nash has not even been on the show for that long. You’re going to stop watching OLTL and follow him to another show? As if Nash was the only reason you even watch the show these days? Soaps fire/hire/rehire actors all the time; that is how these shows work. Are you all new to this concept? To even compare Blair who has been a main character on the show for years to Nash who has only been on the show for a couple years? Give me a break.
I never really liked Nash and he didn’t blend into LLanview that well to me. OLTL is about Tina, Vicky, Joey, the Lords, the Buchanans, the Mannings and the core characters that people like not this new generation crud except the offspring of these characters.
Forbes March is a good actor but the writers didn’t do anything interesting with Nash once they decided to reintegrate Jess/Tess. They wrote themselves into the corner when they made the mess with Jess and Antonio.
I hate to see him go, especially with all the talentless noobs we’re still going to be stuck with. And to boot, while they claim that the reason he was let go was because they are bringing back Kevin, Tina, etc., then why did we get Brody and this other noob will be coming on with Tina?
My own opinion: I also don’t like Jared, but I know they needed a love interest for Natalie. Unfortunately, Jared is just a rehash of the conman that Nash was.
To Kate, who said as if you just watch OLTL because for Nash: the answer is yes, Nash & Jessica. I record OLTL everyday and when I get home I just rewind through the Nash scence. If Nash is not on the show I don’t watch it and I have been watch OLTL for 16 years. The reason that I have continued to watch the show is to see Forbes March as Nash and if he is not there I’ll just start watch Days of Our Lives or another soap, but I will never watch OLTL again. although I have already stopped watching OLTL a while back, I am really SORRY that they’re letting forbes go. on the other hand, i’m HAPPY cuz this gives the knuckleheads at AMC a chance to rehire him as scott chandler!
it’s a shame, I tried going back to OLTL, but when I saw that he & jess were not together like b4, it was BORING! they had sooo much chemistry!
I use to watch OLTL from eons ago, so yes, newer couples can be the reason us old-time watchers do or DON’T watch a soap!
Really Pauline? So why did you EVER start watching OLTL? 16 years ago Nash was not on the show and Jessica was still a tiny kid. Nash is hardly even on one episode per week these days you must not watch at all anymore and have NO IDEA what is going on in the show! (I’ve been watching as long as you have and I tape the show every day too). I really don’t get it. Sure he’s a good actor and I like his character but you really don’t sound like a big OLTL fan you seem more like someone who gets obsessed with a character and does not really care about the show as a whole. I care about the whole show and lately Nash and Jessica have been such a snooze fest. The writers need to shake up that couple.
To Kate: Yes, I have watch OLTL for 16 years, but I would only watch the show because of tiny Jessica, because I to was a kidand loved her and I also watched for Todd(the old one), but since he is gone and Jessica could never be more instresting then she has been since she met Nash Played by Forbes March. Forbes is an amazing actor and he proud passion to this show. He made everyone more exciting. You should go back and watch some of his scenes and you too will believe that he shouldn’t have been fired. And to answer you question, no I haven’t been watch OLTL lately, so I don’t know all that is going, but I toon in every once and awhile and imediately change the station because it is so boring. I just want to be able to keep the onl characters off the show that I can relate to. Is that a crime. Also, there are plently of other people who are during less then Forbes, Marcie, Michael, Miles, Roxie, Lindsay, Nora, etc. Why are they not being fired, instead of Forbes March who has a two reasons to stay: Jessica & Bree.
Pauline: I totally get what you are saying. Between sweeps the show really drags. Here’s a question: How long do the writters allow couples to be happy together before they decide to tear them apart? They are probs due to break up. I really do like the Nash character I just have learned not to get too upset by these decisions to replace/fire. I never thought the show could pull off a new Todd and I hate to say this but I like the new Todd way more than I ever liked the old one and I loved the old one. Both actors are amazing and the character is written so well. I hear Marcie and Miles are going to be leaving the show. Nora has been on the show forever and is so connected to the Buchannan family she’ll never go. I hope over the next month they finally deal with this Rex/GiGi/Shane issue because it is really getting annoying to watch.
I hate to see anyone lose their job but that’s life on a soap. They come and they go and very few stay.

Right on Gia, what you said. The writers dropped the ball with the Nash character once Tess was integrated into Jess again. They became just the boring married couple. Kiss of death. Bye bye.
It’s nobody’s fault, FM is a fine actor. But somebody has to be cut to make room for all of the major comebacks like Carlo and the real Marty Saybrooke (thanku!) and Tina Lord. That’s show business.
I agree with most who have written about Forbes being let go from the soap OLTL. He is perfect for his role as Jessica’s match. They will smooth things out sooner or later but then I heard or read that they are letting her character go a few months from now. The big stars of the show are now down to Vicki, Dorian, Bo and David Vickers. David will be leaving again in about two weeks. Why? Why? Why? The guy that plays Clint is leaving too. I don’t know how much longer Bo has. I can’t keep up with all this.
By the way, when is someone going to let us know how Philip Carey is doing in real life. He died on the show. I know that he is alive in real life.

I joined this group, just to be able to vent my case on the firing of Nash,,are they crazy over at OLTL. Nash is a fantastic actor, and gives so much to his part in the Jessica storyline,,to be honest, if I were an actor I would never want to work for them,,they don’t seem to have loyalty to any star that does such a successful job of building up a part , this is not the first time they have let a really good actor go. and they totally ignore their fans, no explanation,,not an ounce of loyalty towards “our” loyalty to them and their show,,I’m truly upset, they fired Nash, sure he will go on and do very well for himself,,but you get tired of them , at the helm, being so darned inconsiderate,,for what their fans feel,,I wouldn’t work for a group like that,,not with their reputation, sorry..good luck , Mr Forbes, you will do great,,and we will follow you along,,DaiseyLu
Forbes March was a wonderful addition to one life to live. He and Bree were amazing together. They were the best couple on daytime. I hope they find a way to bring him back, because he will be truly missed.
Nash is an amazing actor. In the beginning Nash and Tess sizzled. But as Tess became Jessica their relationship grew into something more than just chemistry, they were soulmates. They built a family, home ,and a business. Nash and Jessica had a child and she is pregnant again. How could they tear them apart like that, it is insane. It was a joy to see a real family on t.v. instead of people like Natalie and Jerod being dishonest with people and lusting after each other and lunatics like Todd abusing kids for the heck of it. We wanted to see Nash and Jessica live a happy life for a little longer. They deserved the fairy tale, not a horror story. Nash is a good actor and I hope those idiot executives see the error of their ways and find a way to bring him back. If not, he will be truly missed. If by some way Forbes sees this, you are a talented actor Forbes and my whole family loved you from the beginning, you were a breath of fresh air and we wish you good luck in whatever you decide to pursue.
It’s a shame that ABC can’t have a happy couple or two on the show instead of hopping from one bed to another with in days.

I have been very upset and disgusted that ABC and OLTL let him go. What were they thinking!!? So, they brought back some stars, they could’ve still done that and still left him on. Taking Forbes March AkA Nash Brennon was the BIGGEST MISTAKE they have ever done!!! I wish they would just bring him back and work threw whatever petty differences they had.
I’m most upset about their finality of things. It’s not that they fired him or Philip Carey (Asa) it’s that they made it next to impossible to bring either of them back. Soaps “kill” people all the time but lately, not just on One Life but AMC and GH too, they just kill off the characters and like AMC, they say “oops! we made a mistake letting Cady McClain go” or “oops! Stuart Damon” the only thing they CAN do is a ghost story. Whatever happened to the “no body” kill? Why do they have to make the deaths so permanent that they can’t possibly bring the actors/actresses back?
They made another mistake with Forbes. He was a great actor and one of the better looking characters (Antonio makes my stomach turn- and that new shaved head of his? ICK!) who had the misfortune of a bad storyline with the whole Napa story but there could have been something there. I think it’s the writers that need to be fired PERMANENTLY!
The only time Nash was exciting in the story line was the story line with Tess. I, for one, like Jared a lot. I also agree with the Todd part–wasn’t sure I was going to be able to like the new one, but I do!
I wish they’d let Bo and Lindsey actually get married and be happy—not have stupid Nora ruin it..She drives me nuts!
Well, Nash didn’t really have much
of a part. I agree about Nora
there, she drives me nuts as well.
I hope Nora learns one day that
her “justice” is not always a good thing. She was so obsessed with
Lindsay, it was nuts. I wanted
Lindsay to finally marry Bo. I
hope she doesn’t go to prison.
