Starr has always been wiser than her years. OOPS!! I SHOULD say that Starr was always wise beyond her years until some writers decided to turn her into a babbling idiot.
I don’t want to see another teen pregnancy story but considering how badly the character of Starr Manning (and most of her immediate family for that matter) has been trashed, I’m not surprised that they haven’t done it sooner.

This is GGGGGGGRRRRREEEEEAAAAATTTTTTTT idea of all time on OLTL. If Starr get pregant of this, Blair get a mental breakdown, Todd get 1000% upset with Starr that she posibly living in street or Cole find aparment for her, Cole is responsible for all decision made by him or Starr and other idea that don’t remember. This is wonderful idea by writers. Congrats to Starr and Cole doing this sex scene and made Todd more upset than ever before. Wow!!!

I hope Starr doesn’t get knocked up.If they are going to do a teen prego story they shouldn’t do it with a permanent cast member.I also don’t think the abortion scenario should be played out by Starr.Oh,yeah! someone needs to tell Kristen she needs to tone it down she’s getting a little hammy this year.I love her and want the best for her I hate to see her overacting her part.

Well, let’s think about it…if Starr gets pregnant, that will make her due date in November. That’s sweeps time! Wouldn’t it be ironic if they choose to give the baby up for adoption and Marcie and Michael take the baby in? A bit over the top but you never know in the soap world!

Amy,Boy would that Get to Todd.I can’t see that,I don’t think Blair or Todd would want to see that happen from their own experiences in life.They would I believe support Starr in keeping the Baby and raising it.I also don’t think the story is over about Marcy and Sam/Tommy.I think Marcy is going to do something else stupid.especially if Todd gets put in Jail over the ruckus with the two boys.

i think the storyline was not right, to have a 16year old having sex, where was the protection or abstaining until they were older. if i was a father, i wouldnt blame Todd for what he did, but as a mother, what did Blair do in teaching her daughter about the do’s and dont’ about sex at a young age.

I was really worried about how it would be handled, and the moments leading up the ‘almost’ were handled beautifully. That said, I’m so happy that the sex never actually happened. It made Todd’s montrous reaction all the more scary – and seriously, I’ve never been scared watching a tv show!

well if they do thats it for me, thats why i quit watching gh almost every female on the show has a preg scare if not a bunch of kids. i think a great storyline would be if Star went to Nora to start divorce proceedings from her parents. think of the possibilities.

Remember….they never did do the deed! I believe Star and Cole that they never went that far. They were in bed partially clothed, yes, but Todd got there just in time. Come on…let’s keep that 16 year old, still a 16 year old! OK?

Dear Kristen,
I have watched you grow up as Starr. I think the show has portrayed your character realistically, however I wish Starr didn’t have sex with Cole. At the age of 16 many teenagers have sex. I did, but I found that having sex is not the same as making love. I wish I had waited. When I met my future husband I was sorry that I couldn’t give the first time to him. I’m impressed that the show has opened up this blog to discuss sex, teen pregnancy, and the possibility of STD.

Young women need to know how their choices today may affect their future. If I sound preachy, it’s because I’m much older now.

first of all, they didn’t have sex. so if starr was pregnant that would be pretty insane. second of all, people getting mad about the show dealing with the fact that a 16/17 year old couple would want to have sex is ridiculous – like it or not, it’s a real issue. and it’s not like it’s a casual thing… starr and cole have been together for over a year. i don’t think they should do a teen pregnancy story though – they have quite enough drama without throwing a baby in the mix.

Well, it’s been confirmed that Starr and Cole did the deed through what the actors have said and the spoilers that have been leaked.
No matter how long they were together, and despite the fact they have both reached the age of consent in PA (where OLTL is set), Starr’s behavior proves that she is not emotionallly mature enough to have a serious relationship. I have seen more negative reactions to this story than positive on various sites – I think OLTL and ABC are going to lose their last few loyal fans in the fallout from this story line. They’ve lost me.

It’s been done to death by all the soaps. Give her a good scare and have her realize the implications of what she and Cole did. Surely taking care of her little half-brother Sam should make her realize the huge responsibility a child is. (And how they get here.)

Now the reality of Starr. In real life she is 17..and Cole is 23. No matter how well they act..she is still 17 and he is an adult. I don’t think it is proper for her to be doing scenes with a 23 year old. Hormones are just that.In real life it could be called rape.I know it is just a story line, but the writers need to take care of children. Anyone else have an thought on that?
