A showdown between Marty Saybrooke, Todd and Blair!

Monday November 27, 2006
Marty Saybrooke and Todd Manning - Copyright ABC, 2006 In this week's Reflections by Jill:
"And now we are waiting for a showdown between Marty Saybrooke, Todd and Blair. It wasn’t a very good meeting for any of them, was it? First there was Marty in total denial that her precious son Cole could be involved with drugs. She had to feel humiliated that she was so adamant that no drugs would be found in Cole’s blood and then she finds out he’s been pumping himself with steroids. Then we have Blair who was the most ridiculous of all. It figures that she would go on the offensive and accuse Marty of setting up the whole scenario so that Cole could hurt Starr to get back at Todd. Sometimes I think Blair needs to just shut up and think before she starts hacking away at people."

Blair seems like the dumbest one in the family. She is such a total slut and she speaks before thinking. I would hope todd wouldn’t get back with her, but I know that isn’t going to happen. Todd’s son jack is also a little wuss. They need to put someone tougher up there. He’s not playing the role to well.

This whole storyline with Marty has to go. Why bring back this character with her stupid offspring? This is beyond my comprehension. I do not see the purpose.

Blair went a little out into left field when she accused Marty of causing the problems that have occurred. It’s not stupid Marty’s fault that she is so blind that she cannot see that her stupid offspring is using drugs.

I know this whole storyline is going to be dragging for a long time and all for what? I don’t know and don’t care.

I don’t understand this storyline and don’t care either. Is this a way for Todd to make peace with his life before being put to death or what? The new Marty-what is up! I miss the old one! I guess we’ll see!

This may be off topic but I had to mention it. Did anyone see the new episode pics for OLTL. Well It’s official, Spencer has officially lost his mind (not that he was ever “normal”). I went to the OLTL section of about.com where they feature future episode pics. There they have three pics of Spencer in his prison cell with a huge gash on his forehead and the words “Blair” and “Mother” written in his blood on the prison wall. Needless to say that’s not normal. They also have a pic of Spencer in a straight-jacket” with a really deranged look on his face (A long time coming in my opinion, man Todd would get a huge kick out of seeing Spencer that way). Anyways just wanted to let everyone know. onelifetolive.about.com episode pics section also has pics of John after his bandage removal (Funny how his whole body and part of his face was heavily burned, yet his hair and beard are intact, guess that’s soaps for ya). Well hope you all check it out.

I like the Marty/Blair/Todd story-line but I do not like the new Marty. Bring back the “old” Marty. PLEASE!!!

Yall are nuts!!!!!!!!!!! The new Marty storyline is awesome! Cole and Starr are great! You guys need to turn the channel because this stuff is just getting started! It’s great!

Well, I guess, I will turn the channel. This storyline is boring. What did Todd’s past have to come back to haunt him? What’s up with the storyline if writers weren’t bringing back the old Marty?

Again, I think her stupid offspring is not all that. I know writers are trying to get Starr hooked with a new love interest, but why this boring kid, I’ll never know. How ironic that she had to fall for the son of the woman her father raped, (zzzzzzzzzzzzzz).

I like Marty (especially if played by the original actress) but there is no way she would return to this town after what happened to her. The writers had her say because of family … if I recall correctly she lived with a demented Aunt her parents having died. She has no other family in the area and she would know that at some point she’d encounter Todd. The town would be full of bad memories.

I tired of OLTL coming back to grips with Todd dealing with his past. For us long time viewers wasn’t Todd taking the bullet for Patrick in Ireland enough for Marty…uh no couldn’t be because when he returned the writers forgot that he risked his life for Marty’s true love. The Todd storylines have been ruined by the writers.

Here we go again folks. Blair is pregnant. I don’t need anyone to tell me this. It better be Todd’s. If it isn’t,Spencer will escape from the institute or jail to find his son and torture Todd and Blair.

If it’s Todd’s baby, boy oh boy Todd is really getting around. Thomas is how old now? About ten months? I wonder if this will make Rex more determined regarding his decision not to tell Todd. If Blair is carrying his baby, he may forget Thomas. I don’t think so Rex.

i like this storyline. talk about one big fat irony. i like seeing Blair cringe.

one question though. how come at their first meeting at the station, Marty recognized Todd right away. Didn’t writers forget that Todd had a face surgery? Remember he took Walter’s face to trick Blair? I didn’t know Marty already knew that, when did that happen? The writers need to tie up their stories forcryingoutloud. OH and I didn’t know Marty and Patrick has a son as old as Starr. When they left Llanview they were childless. The miracle of the baby-age serum..LOL.

Remember when Marty came to testify for Todd when Blair accused him of raping her? She recognized him then. You know I didn’t think of that.

Writers want to give Starr a grown up role however, they need to do something with those stupid bows she wears in her hair. She looks like a little dork.

If Marty wanted to start over because her stupid husband died, why come back to a town where she experienced such pain?

Todd has paid his dues as far as this moran goes. Now it’s back to haunt him. Why? As usual this storyline has nothing exciting going on.
