Good. I’m an Evangeline fan and the sooner John McBain is gone the better for Evangeline moving away from the terrible twosome of John and Natalie. Nothing against Michael Easton but the man has been showing up to work and sleeping through his lines and that’s not near professional. Good riddance.
GOOD! I am so ready for new blood on daytime tv. so fed up with same old story lines..if ya don’t think I am right.look at the way Nash was accepted on OLTL.

I agree that it would be great to see someone with an actual character to develop. John McBain never appealed to me (c’mon Evangeline, what were you thinking???) but neither did the actor. MORE Christian Vega, kill Antonio, more Nash, more Tess/Jess…make vikki & clint DO something besides worry about the kids. David VIckers ought to be on a whole lot more and it’s a shame he’s not hanging out with Dorian–wierd and wonderful couple that they were. Geez, too bad about Duke–there were so many others that the show could have flourished without…
Michael Easton is an awesome actor. I would miss him if he left the show. He is only doing what the writers are giving him. If his storyline is boring that’s not HIS fault.
I would love for ME to stay because he’s one half of the dynamic duo known as JoVan. However, something’s got to give with these storylines…here’s this incredible actor who is in my opinion being wasted. It’s like the character’s stuck and has not evolved, there are no new layers to him. This character has been doing and basically saying the same things since he came on the show. I pose to the writers, ‘please give Michael Easton a reason to stay’ and to take it even further, ‘give us viewers a reason to stay tuned in’.

I love Michael Easton, but I’ve never thought the character of John McBain was the best use of Michael’s acting talent. John is…well, kinda boring. If he doesn’t stay, here’s one fan hoping he lands a WAY more interesting part instead!

The show would be too dull without him!! Michael Easton is such a great actor, the show would be full of fools to let him go. Especially since there are so many that are already planning to go!!
Give ME a storyline worthy of his talents (something he can bite into) or let him go, his stoyline (or lack thereof) is flat, boring and so benieth his talents. I’m a Michael Easton fan and Michael should go to where his talents are utilized to their fullest.
I would be positively crush. John and Natalie are the main reasons I keep watching.
Michael Easton is one of the most dynamic actors to ever hit the screen. His passion and drive are so believable and his love story with Natalie is the main reason I watch the show. It also helps that his looks are extremely appealing…he’s one I’d like to spend time with!!! His character does need to evolve and hopefully the writers will allow this to happen. OLTL would be dull without Michael!!

Michael Easton is one of the most interesting characters on the show. He has such a presence about him that few others have. The story line of John and Natalie are the reason I watch and if he leaves …..we there won’t be a reason to tune in.
Let their storyline continue and grow. With word spreading that some of the regulars are leaving how can they let such a main character go?!
Don’t be foolish, if he goes so will many of the fans!!
I don’t want to see Michael Easton leave the show. If he does leave you will lose
another viewer. I think he is the best thing on that show. I would like to say he is the best actor on that show. You would be absolutely crazy to let him go. There is nobody that could ever be as interesting as he is. He is my very favorite actor.

I would love for Micheal Easton to stay but the character is John McBain has to die. There is nothing redeeming about this character. Tptb have driven this character so into a corner that ANYTHING they tried to do to redeem him would be laughed at, a true joke.
They need to create a new character for Mr. Easton which does justice to his talents. (yes believe it or not the man can act) But as long as they have ‘this’ character in existence, Mr. Easton is doomed to fail.

Michael Easton is a great actor he is so good that he is playing this character really well. You have to think this charactes shows no emotion, doesn’t talk about his feelings and most of all doesn’t show affection. It would be really hard to play a character that could not tell his feelings but have to show it in his face, they way he stands or just really in any action of his body. He shows this really well and for someone to tell me he is boring yes but at the same time he is very mysterious and that is what the writers want you to see in him. You can’t make all characters act the same way there is always that one character on a soap opera that is mysterous and that would be John. So I say keep John and keep up with the good work and the good looks.
Personaly, Michael Easton is too much of an actor for OLTL…He’s capable of much more and for some reason or another they killed a good chemistry between him and Renee Goldsbury. They went from lovers to almost strangers and feel no shame to switch partners…That is sick even for daytime drama…and that is when it all went down hill for me and many other viewers. People started to get fed up with his character as opposed to the weak story lines…For crying out loud how many times must he rescue Nathalie? The writers need to leave and they need to developed ME’ character further that’s plain and simple!

I look forward to the John and Natalie storyline more than any other story on any soap. They exude chemistry, and have real depth in their relationship. Unlike John and Evangeline where it was all about sex. It’s only a matter of time before John admits to himself and Natalie loves her. I can’t wait for that to happen!! I love watching him grow into this character!
If Michael Easton leaves, I will be crushed!! But I will follow him wherever he goes.
I love Michael Easton, but this John character and OLTL as a whole are a waste of his talents. Of all the roles I have seen him in (and I’ve watched almost all of his shows), this is the only one I don’t enjoy. He deserves far better than the role written for him on OLTL.
I would say, “DON’T LET THE DOOR HIT YOUR &$% ON THE WAY OUT”.
His goody-two shoe I can do anything, you can’t stop me, I’m perfect and what I will do what I want attitude can go. If there is room for a few other people to go with him, take Adriana (miss perfect, poular, never make a mistake I’m famous don’t touch me your not good enough can ride with John. Also take Kevin.
TPTB could start out with a whole new string of characters for all I care.

From the beginning it was only a matter of time before Michael Easton would walk off this show. I am a fan of Michael’s and quite frankly he is the only reason I watch this show now. You seem to do away with the best characters. Personally, I wish him well in whatever his next endeavors may be and am sorry I won’t get to see him as frequently as I would like. Once again you kill off a great actor and DO NOT even try to replace him with another actor playing John, you already have a revolving door policy on cast of the show. Sorry OLTL but you really blew it this time.
I never miss a scene with ME in it. I liked him the very beginning. He’s more than just talent. He knows his stuff and how to put it out there. Please writers, give him a reason to want to stay with OLTL. It’s the only soap I watch and he’s one of the reasons.
Michael Easton is a terrific actor and it is a shame that they have wasted his talent on the stupid story line with Natali…She has never had good on screen chemistry with him (Evangeline DID by the way)and they have carried this thing with him and Natalie and her whining about being involved in his life and this preoccupation with his father’s death (first it was Kaitlyn’s death) is way over the top!!! Give him a good storyline WITHOUT Natalie and he would be great!!!

Seeing him at the OLTL Luncheon
last year was a nice birthday present.
Watching Michael Easton has been so exciting-this would be a HUGH loss if he left especially how the story is going with Natlie. I hope that Michael will have a change of heart and ABC and OLTL will consider meeting his demands and get him to stay.
I hate to say this, but maybe the reason OLTL didn’t win any emmies this year was because they let their most talented actors go without a fight. With Tuc Watkins leaving, and now possibly Michael Easton, OLTL stands no chance at winning one next year - with the exception of Bree Williamson. They need to focus more on growth of their characters. John’s been damaged for too long. I may be naive in thinking Natalie can change him…but I truly believe she already has. Now he only has to say those 3 little words to prove all the JoVan fans wrong. Natalie is John’s true love. After all they have over come, they should be the next “Super Couple.”
If John left I would not whatch one life to live any more. I want him to stay he makes the show. I just can’t wait to see him every day on the show. We are losing enough people don’t take John too.

I like John McBain but if he is coupled with Natalie….Kill him off. Her character is not enough woman for him. The Natalie character makes the John character look so blahhhhhhh. No chemistry, no attraction, no excitement, not even ordinary…..KILL THE JOHN McBAIN character if he has to be with Natalie.

I can’t believe that OLTL would risk losing him. Most of his story lines haven’t been the greatest, and they surely haven’t capitalized on his great range of emotions that he was able to show in almost everything else he’s done, but to spend a single day without this guy would really suck! Come on ABC, step up and make an offer so great, that is makes up for the nasty New York weather and lack of creativity on the parts of the writers. Show a little humor, a better romance with Natalie, and pair him up with Rex or David Vickers fighting crime. What a comedy team(he’s great with his dry wit)they’d be!
John is not leaving One Life to Live, he’s running from Natalie.
I would be devistated if Michael Easton left OLTL. He is what I look forward to when watching OLTL.. I can’t wait for him and Natalie to get together. I have become addicted because of him and I don’t know if I would be interested in the show if he leaves… PLEASE STAY MICHAEL!!!

John & Evangeline are two better characters of the show.
For what every reason the writers have they will not allow the two characters to work as a partnership in a real relationship.
I would be sorry to see him leave but if he does I wish him the best.
I also wish that Evangeline would leave also because they are going to make that character like the rest in and out of relationships with any all and her character is better than as is Jon.
If ME does go to GH, it should be to take over the mob business so that Jason and Sonny can be happy for a couple of minutes. I too think John McBain is the wrong character for ME. Natalie needs someone else, and Evangeline too.

Michael Easton is one of the main reason i watch OLTL along with M. Archer. I think he should stay cuz i enjoy his acting and looks good too! however i think the natalie and john story is becoming very waterdown. its time to either toss the toegather or split them up cuz the story has just been dragged out far too long. all in all i would be crushed if he left OLTL. but if he happened to join GH i would defiantly watch that one.

Keep John!!! He is the only character worth watching right now. I also love watching him and Natalie together. When they are together like in the scenes that aired on June 2nd it seems like they are real people in a real relationship. I could not watch the show anymore if he left.

I started watxhing Port Charles because of Michael Easton. I’ve only been watching OLTL for two years. I love the show & other characters but, if he leaves for good I wont be watching OLTL any longer. Lisa Rinna made a comment a while back saying that Michael is the heart of the show & She is ABSOLUTLEY RIGHT!
Glad I just found out about the possibility he was not staying on OLTL as Michael Easton was the reason I went back to watching OLTL after many years of staying away - think I left after the final straw and only interesting character, Todd Manning, went to another soap - yeah, they replaced Todd Manning with a so-so actor, but it’s still not TODD and the show declined. It needed to bring in someone like Michael Easton and anyone who has followed him like me, if possible, as long as he’s on TV, we’d be very sad to see him leave
Glad I’m hearing he signed afterall, and I hope it’s a true rumor he’ll be the one under those bandages come November when they’re removed! Maybe he’ll have a clean shaven face again considering he was burned, right? Can’t stand the facial hair since joining OLTL - love that clean face Easton! I’ll take him any way I can get him though so I FEEL GOOD he’s staying, as opposed to BAD if he left

Michael Easton is an accomplished writer and has so much more passion inside him. OLTL is dragging him down. The show is so bad right now, he needs to leave and really make use of his talent.
