First I have to say I HATE THE IDEA.
Haven’t the writers of OLTL learned already from the joke that was/is JoLie *John & Natalie*….that you can’t force couples with no chemistry down the audience’s throats and expect us to swallow it and then beg for more.
They haven’t even resolved John and Evangeline’s relationship, nor Cristian and Natalie’s. Yes Evangeline dumped John and Natalie supposedly dumped Cristian and then last week he dumps her *Still confused about that whole drama* Yet every scene John and Evangeline are in the heat rolls off of them effortlessly. And there’s all the hint about Natalie still being undecided over which man she wants *Though she’s always up John butt crack*
I don’t understand why they’re even doing an Evangeline and Cristian romance, yeah ok she got him out of prison, but that’s something to show gratitude for not start a romance over. And didn’t Evangeline just state that she knew better to get involve with another man who is involved with Natalie?
I loved JoVan but if they have no intentions of a reunion between John and Evangeline then I want Evangeline to have a man with no ties to anyone else, ESPECIALLY Natalie Balsom-Buchanan-Lawrence-Vega.
I absolutely love this pairing. Anyone who belives that this is a forced pairing is blind!. Cristian is exactly what Evangeline needs. Cris is the one who will take a bullet for her, Cris is the one who won’t let her fall of the table, Cris is the one who is worried about her, and YES Cris is the who would not be afraid to say I love you. I love the way this story is slowly building, taking time with nuances, explaining the Evangeline, and yes Cristian….. establishing trust. Most importantly Cris will NEVER in a million years use Evangeline for sex. Never. Finally the powers that be got something right. Cristian and Evangeline, the next super couple!!!

It’s a force pairing but it also keeps Vangie in with the other half of the quad: McBain & Natalie. She doesn’t need Natalie’s leftovers! I find the whole thing sickening because Cris will take Natalie back in a heartbeat.
I like the pairing. John doesn’t know what it is to be a man. David respects Renee and them working together is nice. I will await their scenes happily.
Vangie and Cristian need each other at this time. Vangie was always too good, sophicated and educated for John. Vangie has a great soul and the willingness to love and Cristian is the one person who deserves to love again. If Cris is not the person for Vangie, then they need someone new in town, because all the other men have to much drama and baggage. Please give Vangie a good man, who can appreciate her and love her as she needs to be love. Go Cris!!!!
Evangeline deserves better! She doesn’t need someone standing in the way of her doing her job! Cris is all wrong for her; he will always still want Natalie. (It took two years for his character to stop whining over Jessica before moving on.) He is only good as a friend. The Vange only needs a sounding board. Cris as a lover playing macho man is too much for the smart Nubian. I’m already bored with an argument they could have. Wish the writers would have Cris carry Antonio and Natalie while dragging John off the set somewhere. One does not survive RJ or John to be told what to do by Cris in a relationship. Don’t dumb her down. Don’t make her pitiful
I’m so sick of the way Natalie talks down to Evangeline and Vange just takes it (yes she’s taking the high road). More scenes with that will have me crawling up the walls and ready to boycott the show. Get someone new and free of all that baggage for Vange instead of some stale leftover that will get in her way instead of aiding in the decisions she makes.
What’s the plan now move the Vega boys to Lela and Vange?
AGGHHH! Perhaps the head writer should return to Days. I left Sammie, Hope, Billie, Marlene and John show for a very good reason. I’m really tired of these storylines lately, no great conclusion, just a replay over a replay.
I agree with narly….I love the thought of Evangaline and Todd, in particular because I think Todd and Blair have run their course. I love Trevor St. John, and think he has helped to evolve Todd in such a way that he can move on in the town with someone else. And while I hate Blair and Spencer, I love the story. So what I am saying is that Chris and Evangaline are only interesting to me in a way that puts them in a triangle with Todd and Evangaline.
Yes Nikki, that is exactly what I expect when someone is asking for my opinion, fairness.

I not trying to be mean but the idea of Evangeline and Todd together is the stupidest Idea I have heard today. Have you forgotten how Todd treated Blair. Of course Blair comes out to be on the show the most dumbiest women ever but at the same time Todd lies constantly. Evangeline deserves someone thats going to treat her right and it just happens to be nobody on this show that would. I know what your thinking what about Cris. NO!NO!NO! He is way to hot for her and he is still in love with Natalie. Evangeline would be nothing but a stand in until Natalie came back to him. Personally I think that Natalie, John, Cris and Evangeline should not be dating anybody until they all get there lives together and most of all they all need to get their own lives and stop butting into each others.
I’m all for the Christian/Evangeline pairing. Heck I’ll even go for Todd/Evangeline! Actually the Christian/Evangeline/Todd triangle sounds intriguing! Bleh I guess any pairing NOT evolving John is appealing to me.
