All I can say is thank goodness Todd is finally in custody again!

In this week's Reflections by Jill:
"Now, hopefully we can get this storyline moving. I had to laugh when Evangeline said that Todd had six weeks until his execution. Boy, they move fast, don’t they…even though he did refuse to appeal his conviction? I just hope we don’t have one of those scenes like they did on Days of Our Lives years ago when Sami was on death row and the needle was practically in her arm before they found out who the real killer was." About Evangline and Christian. It is just like white producers to find a crimminal for a young upcoming black lawyer to love. Black people will never get a break on soaps. It was find with the white boy john until natalie an white girl wanted him. She ran after him and he really doesn’t want her. It is sicking how she runs after john. Please let Evangeline love any body else except a crimminal. Why can’t natalie have her old husban back? The soaps are so racist when it comes to black folk. You know evangline is too talented and up and coming to want a crimminal. It doen’t make sense. These producers just see skin color. It makes me sick. It is so racist. It makes me sick. Why can’t the black girl have that white boy? It is possible you know. Our society has grown up more than the producers of this show. I have been watching this show since it started to air long time ago and they always do away with the black folk. The black folk can not get involved with the with folk. grow up producers. like goes on with or without you liking what you see. be real be real.

1.One Life to Live has had a lot of interracial couples on the show. In fact it was the first soap to showcase an interracial storyline. From the last few years, after what the writers did to Rachel’s future and made Carrie into some craze person. Vange is a breath of fresh air. The character is awesome and I’m enjoying her development. The men folk in her life have been disappointing.

2.Evangeline dated RJ (club owner, bad boy element), controlling and untruthful.

3.Evangeline dated John (officer) who even while she knew she loved John deeply, she stepped away from it because she knew it wasn’t working. He was not giving back what she needed. I can go off in a quote about, “tis better to love…” I’m sure you heard about it. Besides if a man is running back to another’s arms so quickly, i.e. crazed Natalie, thank the good lord it happen quicker than if it was really later down the road. One good point, John wasn’t going to lie to her.

4.I don’t want to see her with Cris (artist, boxer). He doesn’t allow others to make their own decision. That’s a little too controlling even if he believes he is behaving nobly, it’s still untruthful to take away a choice.

5.The idea of Todd intrigues me. I like their chemistry. But he will always love Blair, so no too much baggage. Plus Todd has the avoidance of the truth thing. And it wouldn’t happen unless Star gives a blessing.

6.Hugh. I rather see him with Kelley so she won’t keep moving around the Buchanan man. It’s a little too peevish when you know her (plus Kevin’s) partnering back story.

7.Vange’s character is holding together a lot better then most. Which I love. Because I don’t need her dumb down. Or so easily manipulated. I need her strong and conquering each thing thrown at her in life. She thinks, she feels and she knows where she stands with herself. LOVE THAT. Even a melt down gives raise to her inner phoenix. Her satellite support i.e., Lelaya and Cris don’t whole enough wisdom to give her the best advice she needs when they try act on her behalf. It’s more like the sound of scratching your nails against chalkboard. True she needs to relax at times but she isn’t falling off a cliff.

8.Vange doesn’t need to go backwards. The up coming spoiler suggests she will become blind. Let her freak out, curse, scream, and cry whatever. But I want the inner phoenix to come out. I want to continue to see that strength the character has. Give her the aide she needs. But not however have another character to try to make her lesser and dominate her every movement. She doesn’t need to be babysat. Even when her world is turned inside out she’ll find herself and a purpose. It will be interesting to watch.

9.All of the One Life to Live male characters have a damsel in distress complex. So I’m sure the show will make it interesting in who gets to play the knight in shinning armor.
